Nun

Nun is the fish. The creature that lives entirely in the medium of Mem (water). To be Nun is to be the one who continues, the heir, the one who carries the line forward through the depths. Death sits on this path because death is the gate of continuation — what ends seeds what continues.

Nun is the letter of the Lilim — Lilith's daughters and inheritors, and by extension everyone who walks the priesthood's current. To be counted among the Lilim is to be a Nun in the Mem of the Black Water — to live in the medium of the Mother and to carry the line. Nun is the chapter where dedication becomes inheritance.

Nun is named over every initiate received into the line. The priest names the letter, the seeker carries it. The line continues.
