Tav

Tav is the seal. The last letter, the cross-mark, the signature at the end of the document. The Universe (The World) of the Tarot is here because the seal closes the work and at the same time opens the next cycle. Tav is the letter of completion that is also the first letter of beginning, since the alphabet is a circle.

Tav is the chapter that closes the Liber Lilith — and immediately opens the next walk through the letters. The seal is the priest's name, the lineage acknowledged, the work signed and dated. In the Lilith current Tav also names the mark on the body: the consecrated tattoo, the inked sigil, the chosen scar that says the work is sealed in flesh.

Tav is drawn last, in red or in black, after the rite is complete. Without Tav the work remains open; with Tav it can be carried and the next can begin.
